I had managed to get a post as a veterinarian on a big island in Australia. I hadn’t been away from home before, apart from my friends, but I was keen to practice the work that I was worshiping in that environment that attracted me very much. I have always wanted to get to Australia. I was nervous about the route I was going to follow, from my long journey by plane to the house where I was going to live for a year. I said “goodbye” from my friends in New York and I decided to see about my career. It was 10 o’clock at night and the taxi had to arrive in front of the house. The most difficult goodbye was the one with my parents, with whom I have met two days before the departure. I was sitting and I was looking at the house that I was not going to see it for such a long time, I was feeling lost somehow. I was having a flight with 2 stops and it was going to be very tiring. I got a few books and I’ve seen Australia-related documentation. On the last plane I sat next to a very sympathetic young man who was also on training in another field. After about 30 minutes, we have reached an oasis of tranquility, the beauty of nature. There I met a group of very cute locals, with joy and a table full of goodies and exotic fruits. The cabana in which I was going to live was something of a dream, with a living room, a bedroom that had large windows with a view to the forest. It was all rustic combined with elegant, clean, good taste. Among the locals who met me, I saw a young man who did not seem to be from those lands, he seemed to be American like me, but I dared not ask him anything. If I was going to see him again, I was going to talk to him for sure. I would love to have someone with whom I could talk about things he understands. Besides, he was looking so damn well: A black-haired young man with a medium long hair, caught in a tail, with his well-done body, he was tall and with green eyes.
I took a relaxing bath by sipping a glass of red wine, looking at the greenery sight that was delighting your eyes. From the very next day new things were expecting me and a new way that I was definitely going to follow with confidence. My love for animals brought me to such wonderful lands. It didn’t matter that I left behind my family, my friends. After the relaxing bath and the glass of wine, I fell asleep into the very comfortable bed.
In the morning I woke up due to the alarm clock and somebody was calling me on the terrace. I took the sheets and I wrapped myself in it, walking on the porch. She was a lady dressed specifically for that land, with a meal full of goodies for me, as if I were on vacation. I thanked her and I started to eat from everything that was there, exotic fruits, things I had not seen before, and a very tasty coffee. After I took my breakfast, I washed and I prepared for my job. My surprise was great when I found out that the sexy gentleman was a colleague with me and he was really American. What seemed to me a silent guy, that day he was not like that. I got home, I quickly took a shower and I changed, heading for his terrace. There was a diffused light and a smell of food.
– Did you cook?
– Of course! Can not you believe that? I can take care of animals and I can cook as well!
– I can not wait to taste it! I’m hungry!
